BASIC CONTROLS

Drag your finger (or mouse on web) to move your character — a glowing red orb — along the white border of the arena.

  • Safe Mode: While on the border, you are safe from spiders.
  • Drawing Mode: Step off the border into the dark unclaimed area to start drawing a line.
  • Capture: Connect your line back to any border or claimed area to capture the enclosed territory.
  • Auto-Retract: If you lift your finger while drawing, your character automatically retraces the trail back to safety at high speed.

OBJECTIVE

Capture the required percentage of the arena to complete each level.

  • World 1: Capture 75% of the arena (70% on boss levels)
  • World 2: Capture 78%
  • World 3+: Capture 80%

You start with 3 lives per level. Lose all lives and it's game over.

WHAT KILLS YOU

  • Touching a spider while in Drawing Mode
  • Running into a spider web
  • Your trail decaying completely (World 2+)

Crossing your own trail does not kill you — it cancels the trail and snaps you back to the border.

ENEMY TYPES

Spider Unlocks Behavior
Normal Level 1 Roams the unclaimed area. Hunts your trail aggressively when you draw.
Ghost Level 6 Semi-transparent. Can pass through borders and claimed areas. Immune to Freeze.
Teleport Level 12 Teleports to a random location every 4-6 seconds. Watch for the shake warning!
Splitting Level 16 Splits into 2 smaller spiders when caught inside a captured area.
Invisible Level 21 Cycles between visible (2s) and invisible (3s). Only a faint shimmer reveals it.
Mini Level 5 Small but fast. Patrols the border — dangerous even in Safe Mode.
Boss Every 5th level 3x size, HP bar, charge attacks, enrage below 50% HP. Escort spiders included.

Spider Webs — Spiders periodically place webs in the arena (from Level 2). Touching a web or drawing your trail through one kills you. Webs blink before disappearing.

POWER-UPS

Glowing potion bottles appear in the unclaimed area every ~20 seconds. Enter Drawing Mode near one to collect it. Only one exists at a time.

SCORING

Each area capture earns score based on the percentage captured in one move:

Bonus points awarded at level end for remaining time and lives.

TRAIL DECAY (WORLD 2+)

Starting in World 2, your trail has a time limit. Trail cells decay from the oldest end. If the entire trail decays while you're drawing, you die.

  • World 2: 5-8 seconds per cell
  • World 3: 4-5 seconds per cell
  • World 4+: 3.5-4 seconds per cell

The Freeze power-up pauses trail decay. Boss levels have no trail decay.

TIPS & STRATEGIES

Capture small areas frequently instead of going for one big capture. Smaller moves are safer.

Watch spider movement patterns before drawing your line. Timing is everything.

Use power-ups strategically — save them for tough situations instead of using them immediately.

Lift your finger to auto-retract. If a spider is heading toward your trail, release to safely retrace your steps.
